There’s no need to farm these trees as there’s an abundance of them growing wild in the tropical rainforests. We source our Kapok from Java, South-East Asia, which is where the best Kapok grows.
Locals collect the seedpods, extract the fibre and manually remove the seeds. There’s no pesticides or chemicals needed at any stage. The result is a clean, soft, smooth and healthy floss that is absolutely perfect for filling pillows.
