Kapok, the magical plant fibre
Kapok is the beautiful, silky fibre present in the seedpods of the Kapok tree. It’s naturally anti-bacterial, moisture repellent and bug resistant. That’s just some of the many qualities it boasts.
If you have a healthy concern about toxins you’ll love Kapok because the tree grows naturally in the wild. Therefore it doesn’t need pesticides or fertilisers. Harvesting requires nothing more than gathering the seedpods and removing the fibre. After the seeds are picked out of the fibre, by hand, the clean Kapok is the finished product. No processing, no chemicals, no toxins.
Kapok has been used for centuries and has only been side-lined in recent years for man-made synthetic fibres which are cheaper to manufacture but incredibly toxic.

Pillow Rebels seems to be a good quality brand. Shipping was quick, the pillows came in an environmentally friendly packaging and they seem to be quite comfortable. Time will tell.
